This engaging and interactive class introduces participants to the basics of rope play in a fun, safe, and consensual environment. We’ll begin with a brief review of safety protocols and consent practices to ensure everyone feels comfortable and respected. Following that, we’ll explore the essence of shibari, touching on its history and philosophy, before diving into the main event: the One Rope Rodeo.

The One Rope Rodeo is a partner-building exercise designed to help you and your partner explore the ebb and flow of connection, movement, and sensation through the use of a single rope. You’ll learn techniques to co-create and design an experience that’s both dynamic and meaningful. We’ll guide you through how to use the rope as an extension of yourself, demonstrating ways to deliver a variety of sensations and foster deeper connection.

Participants with partners will have the opportunity to try the One Rope Rodeo exercise hands-on, while those without partners will be accommodated to ensure everyone can participate and enjoy the experience. If time permits, we’ll finish the session with a Q&A, where you can ask more about shibari, rope techniques, and how to enhance your practice.This session is perfect for all experience levels, whether you’re new to rope play or looking to deepen your understanding.
