We are Nature! And Nature is us. This outdoor class will involve walking, exploring and learning how to connect with and experience Nature as Teacher, Muse, Healer, Friend.
SPRING is beautiful, abundant, fecund with possibility.,resilient and fantastically amazing. Our intimate and sacred relationship with Nature allows us to develop and expand these dimensions in our human selves..We’ll identify and learn about edible and medicinal plants , connect with the elements (earth, air water, fire) for strength, creativity, and healing, explore some of the wilder beautiful places at Shakori Hills .
Please dress comfortably for being outside/weather.

DIAMANT
Leif Robert Diamant is a Licensed Professional/Clinical Counselor, lifetime naturalist, and ordained Interfaith minister (One Spirit Interfaith Seminary). He has a psychotherapy practice at his studio in the woods . He leads walks and talks at the Shakori Hills Festival, Piedmont Earthskills Gathering, and Death Faire. His neighboring 42 acre farm is through the woods where he grows fruits and vegetables, lives with donkeys, chickens and a herd of African dwarf goats, big trees, and open sky. He was once Director of UNC’s human Sexuality Information and Counseling Service and a certified Sex Counselor.
His current professional work focuses on trauma healing, psychedelics and psychotherapy, death and dying, and gratitude and joy in living.
